What was hard about living daily was that no one believed you. How you would see shadows at night, the way they would crawl and creep up the walls up your bedroom. Their inky darkness would spread open in a make-shift mouth and cackle silently at you. At your stubbornness, and fear. You would watch them every night, but not make a single sound to signal your parents. But every night they would curl and spread into new fears, leaving you jumpy and easily frightened during days.
And how the shadow took a liking to you. Every night, he would visit you. Trying to reduce you to tears. Usually, he was not this sadistic, but watching your (e/c) orbs pool with fear sent his senses tingling. Your soul was absolutely delectable, a waver of child-like innocence to it. It made his mouth water, but he knew he should wait, or else he could destroy her pre-mature soul. It had been ages since he last had a meal. His last master was young, but after going through extreme hardships, his soul was pushed into adulthood.
As you grew, the shadows seem to lessen in size and mass, but they always followed you. Not matter where you moved or hid, they came in swirling darkness. Little did you know it was not a ghost or shadow haunting you, it was a demon, who in his sadistic humor pursed you into adulthood. But you had grown up with darkness, and it became a white noise in the base of your skull. Settle, harmless, but still there.
It took a large amount of wit, and planning for the demon to approach you. It was not normal his method to just ease into your life, but due to your jumpiness it was viewed best. He would causally talk to you in shops, shifting form for each conversations. Waiting for the perfect opportunity to strike a deal. His time came when he watched you from the trees above, as you drove you car home from work.
Driving home alone had become somewhat tiresome. You began to long for someone to sit beside you and talk about one another's days. A companion, or even a friend. Some nights it was absolutely scary to be alone. The forest you had to drive through from work to your old, empty house would bring back your childhood nightmares. You would still have flash-backs sometimes of the shadows. Your eyes would play tricks and you would swivel around to see nothing that fit your criteria of nightmarish creature from the beyond.
Sebastian, or what he went by now, would spend his nights frightening you. But tonight was different, he would actually hurt you this time. Put you on the spot in order to snatch a tasty meal. Never leaving his perch up in the tree, he flicked his fingertips over to a nearby pine. A loud crack erupted from the trunk as it began to splinter and moan. Starting its way to the ground and right across the road.
Jumping from your thoughts soon enough to see the massive pine collapse above you, you tried to swerve. But the solid pine still struck the hood, crunching the soft metal under its weight. Your chest was slammed into the wheel, the white bag bloomed from the center like a flower, causing you not to have some nasty damage. You were dazed, and you were sure several ribs and limbs were broken. Only you out in the middle of nowhere, the only human that is.
Chuckling at his cleverness, Sebastian leaped from his perch only to land with grace of a demon to the paved ground. His heels clicked softly as he continued to your half-dead form. When he reached the driver side, he simply smiled.
Not noticing his reddish eyes, you reached out. Your chest heaved from exhaustion and your mind swam.
"Please, save me."
And he did, but only dragged you into a deeper hell.

It were very dark. You couldn`t see where to step, because it were dark like the darkest night. While walking, your eyes catch something. Something like a shiny, red color. The red color were like blood. "Is that blood?" you say to yourself. Then you realize it is not blood, but red-blood colored eyes. "Hello is anyone there?" you ask the red eyes. However, no one answer it. You reach your right hand to touch it, but its running away from you. "No, wait!?" you say panicked. You lift your black colored dress that is long and case after the eyes. You yell at the eyes to stop. However, it looks like it will not. Everythi

You walked up the street to find the constables station. As you opened the heavy soild oak door a little bell rang.
" hello? " you said as you walked up to the glowing fire to get warm.
" oh hello, how may i help you... Miss." Said a man you presumed to be a detective.

"Nightingale," a soft voice reached my ears as my eyes fluttered open, "little nightingale. When are you hiding?"
"It can't be...Lee-lee? Lee-lee!"
Her face appeared over mine, short golden locks framing it perfectly. I blinked, half expecting the image to vanish when I did. Instead, I found my sister, Alice, beaming down at me.
"You're such a sleepy head, little bird, I wouldn't be surprised if you slept through a tornado! Let's have some fun!"
She pulled me up to my feet and for the first time, I noticed we stood in the middle of a snow-covered field. Despite being barefoot, I wasn't the slightest bit col
